Best of Doom (created and maintained by Denton "DoomWiz" Woods), was a well-known and respected site among the Doom community - in fact, it was one the biggest and most popular Doom sites ever run by one man. Best of Doom had a large assortment of all kinds of Doom articles, ranging from interviews to WAD reviews, though the site was best known for its comprehensive list of Doom sites along with the Best of Doom award that DoomWiz rewarded exceptionally good Doom sites with. Best of Doom's lifespan lasted from 1997 to 1998.
