A Brown Chaos Serpent at the Hypostyle.
The Brown Chaos Serpent is an enemy from Hexen.
They are functionally identical to the Green Chaos Serpent in that they are physically similar (yet differently colored) and have the same amount of Hit Points (250), yet Brown Chaos Serpents spit green balls of gas versus the Green Serpents' fireballs; a player hit by them is not poisoned, but is dealt more damage than a fireball.
Brown Chaos Serpents first appear in the Seven Portals' secret level, Bright Crucible.
