MAP06: Covert Operations Facility is the sixth map of Whispers of Satan. It was designed by Paul Corfiatis, who also wrote the music track for this level, "Into The Darkness".
Walkthrough[]
- Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.
Secrets[]
- Right at the start, drop down to the water and follow a small pathway east from the elevation you started in. Enter the small alcove and step onto the spot containing the double-barreled shotgun to register the secret.
- After going down the first lift, you will see four rooms numbered 1 to 4 (the numbers are engraved in red on the ground right in front of their respective doors). The wall with a lightning bolt symbol next to the first door can be opened to obtain a megaarmor.
- At the very end of the map, walk along the thin white ledge "framing" around the exit portal to find a soulsphere right behind it.

End of Mission Text[]
You have destroyed the monsters amongst the acids within the bases and a message is beamed down to you from your control ship telling you that more Hellspawn lie ahead. The news is not looking too good because bigger, more brutal enemies lie in your path.
Let your boomstick sing it's [sic] song. You've saved Earth before. Well, most of it. The haunted unexplored base awaits, where every human is a pile of guts and bones.
