The IWADs contain the following numbers of health bonuses:
|Game||ITYTD and HNTR||HMP||UV and NM|
- Pre-V1.2 versions of Doom capped the maximum health value at 199 units rather than 200.
- In a beta of Doom, Demonic Daggers served as a health bonus - when the player picked them up, his health went up 1%.
- In Doom RPG, the health bonus is called a health vial. It increases the player's health by 4 units.
