Impact weapon

An impact weapon is one of the six hitscan weapons that will operate a "gunfire activated" linedef, such as a wall that opens upon being shot.

Specifically, the impact weapons found in Doom are:

• Fist
• Chainsaw
• Pistol
• Shotgun
• Super shotgun
• Chaingun
