MAP15: Blood Bath is the thirteenth map of the megawad Scythe. It was designed by Erik Alm and uses the music track "The Dave D. Taylor Blues". It is the fifth map of the second episode. The layout of this level is somehow similar to Doom II's "The Inmost Dens" and also contains the secret exit to MAP31 "I Dunno Torn".
A Video Playtrough of "Map15: Blood Bath"
- Once you make it to the outside area with the Red skull bars, using the small staircases try to get on the gray ledges, one on the left, drop down into the red water "it wont hurt you" there should be a Blue armor there, use the teleport to get back up.
- Once you make it to the door "that leads to the Yellow skull door" that opens downwards instead of upwards, once its lowered step on it and let it raise you up, once it does that try to jump off at mid point or top point on to the grey wall or into the red water again, once there explore the area until you find a switch on the wall, press that and a wall should lower nearby with a arachnotron in it, kill it and get the items it guarded. (NOT COUNTED AS A SECRET) = In the room where the arachnotron's wher, there are 4 torches in the walls, notice how 3 of them are green and 1 of them is red, what you need to do here is simply use your "use/open" key on the red torch and a wall with a teleport should open behind you close by, go in it and you get a Soul sphere)
- Like with "2." use the door trick to get into the otherside this time but only to the side where you see the Megasphere, you should also be able to access this area from the Yellow skull key area with enough running speed to leap over to the hole in the corner. "The Secret Level exit is also located here"
