Macabre Conversions was a level editing team that consisted of David "Merciless Madman" Biermann, David Taylor, Ty Towell, and Joe Zook.

The team's first project, Operation: Reckoning, was created for Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition and was the only mod that all four members were involved with; the mod started development on June 20, 2013, was finished on March 20, 2015, and contained 35 single player-only levels, weapon strength modifications, and new voice-overs. The second mod, Davepack, was created for Doom II: Hell on Earth; it started development on July 13, 2013, initially finished development on October 1, 2013, and contained 50 levels designed by David Biermann (he fixed a glitch in an updated version that was found by Ty Towell in the original version). The last two projects by Macabre Conversions were Wrath and Twisted, which were a 36 level megawad for The Ultimate Doom and a 45 level megawad for Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders, respectively. Wrath, which had 27 single player levels and nine deathmatch levels, started development on February 22, 2015, initially finished development on June 22, 2015, and the PWAD file was later updated on November 30, 2015. Twisted, which had 27 single player levels and 18 deathmatch levels, started development on July 23, 2015, initially finished development on November 23, 2015, and the PWAD file was later updated on December 1, 2015. Wrath and Twisted were created by David Biermann. All four of the mods were originally released on December 31, 2015; Davepack received updates to the PWADs and text files on December 4, 2016, Wrath received updates to the text files on December 4, 2016, and Twisted received updates to the text files on December 5, 2016.
