Notability?[]
This person isn't listed on the List of notable Doom community people, under either nick. Is this an oversight/omission, or is this person actually not notable? — RobertATfm (talk) 00:29, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
I just knew I had seen the name "NiTROACTiVE" before. Sure enough, a previous article on this person has been created and deleted. Delete. — RobertATfm (talk) 00:37, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
- Except when that previous article was created, he didn't talk about the fact that he does Youtube reviews of Doom Wads. Right now I'm not sure if I should keep or delete the article because I'm not sure that these kind of reviews would be considered notable to the Doom community. I mean yeah he's got close to 4,400 subscribers which is quite hard to achieve and has also inspired a few Doomers to the same kind of review videos as him. I'm not sure if you think doing YouTube video reviews and having a popular fanbase to back that up as something notable. It's not anything like the Cacowards, Top 100 WADs of All Time, or other important articles that review Doom Wads. Aquarius might post a bulletin on his YouTube channel about this article being nominated for deletion and some of his fans might come here to defend this article. I've been thinking about this leaving this discussion open for at least a couple of weeks to see if anybody would reply. The person probably doesn't know about the article on here otherwise some of his fan would of defended this article days ago. My final verdict on Aquarius199 is Delete. Yeah sure it's impressive to have around 4,500 subscribers just by mostly reviews wads, especially Terrywads. That unfortunately isn't enough for me to keep the article because when people go ahead and read it, they will think he is just some YouTuber who does video reviews of Doom WADs. Plus none of his wads are even close to notable so there's that. Maybe in the future I'll think about restoring this article if he wins a Cacoward or somehow becomes really popular having far more subscribers than what he currently has.
