I just downloaded and installed doom19s.zip and the checksums of my doom1.wad do not match the ones listed here. I corrected it.
According to http://www.soulsphere.org/random/doom-md5sums.txt (found with google):

- Thanks for that. Fraggle and I have gone to great pains to assemble correct MD5 sums for the IWADs, testing different upgrade paths, etc. I know at least one other person working on the wiki does too. It's one example of where it would be useful to have some verifiability for facts, as you've done here: how someone can check.
Of course, in this case, it was fraggle himself that made the mistake :P -- 220.127.116.11 19:46, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
About the 1.25 version, I've not been able to find more info about it other than the added info in the readme.exe
SPECIAL VERSION 1.25 FOR SYBEX Unfortunately, this version does not support the GUS sound card due to time limitations. This version should be more stable than v1.2.
Also my hashes match the hashes of this post http://forums.newdoom.com/showpost.php?p=488219&postcount=18 (Kimo Xvirus 18:38, 22 October 2008 (UTC))
- Did this come with "The Official Doom Survivor's Strategies & Secrets" by Sybex? I'm pretty sure it came with a copy of the game (and I see the back cover in my copy is torn, as if there was once a disk envelope glued on it). I'll have to see if I still have the disks somewhere (assuming they're still readable)... -- CODOR 00:31, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
