What's the stance on linking to wads with explicitly questionable legal standing? The first external link points to the wad removed from idgames (which is already lax on copyrights but has some filtering). A parallel would be a Wikipedia article link to an online copy of a book that infringes copyrights, or that is published without permission. Who is like God? 01:11, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Excellent question, which should be answered since many TCs are historically significant.  Two small parts of the answer: Wikia's terms of use don't prohibit such links (no surprise when you see some of the ridiculous things that go on at the TV/movie wikis).  Some editors, including me, have been known to remove out-and-out warez links without much comment; on the other hand, speaking of books, this link is still here.    Ryan W 16:22, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
I followed the first external link, but all I found on the page was dead download links. -- Janizdreg 02:00, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Indeed; I failed to check last time assuming the wad was on the web page locally, but the link is to /idgames (where it was replaced by Sarge Baldy's legalized version). Who is like God? 02:17, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
