[edit] Monster "speed" data
Arachnotrons are faster as well — no, actually, they aren't. Those tables still need to be adjusted for the subtle differences in movement AI, so to speak, among different monsters. Ryan W 08:00, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- OK - in that case, the Arachnotron article needs to be fixed as well:
- Although they may seem slow, Arachnotrons are actually faster than Demons and can catch up with the player at a frightening pace.

- Most of the monster articles, like their subjects, are masses of scar tissue, because they have been edited only in a very scattered way since early 2005. The statement you quote may be true, but it may not be; the only way to know for sure is by looking at the source and/or frame tables (as in the discussion I linked to above). I personally don't believe that we should require readers to be familiar with the source and frame tables before they can make sense of the technical data we include in gameplay-related articles, so I am trying to learn the source in order to make those sections slightly more "empirical". But that takes a while. :> Ryan W 08:44, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
